When things just work out. What a day in Eastern New Mexico! A surprise chase after work turned into one of the best days shooting lightning I've had to date. I didn't know which way to point my camera. Decided a good old down the road shot was the best option. Not even two minutes after, this bolt landed right where I hoped!
