This trip was for a specific photo of a beautiful reflection of Shiprock. The wind had different plans, thought, and during the day it stirred up dirt in the puddle and made the shot impossible. I was forced to scramble for a composition that would work in these conditions. Light was changing by the second, and I knew time was fleeting. Suddenly, something white and glowing caught my eye in the distance. What could this be?! The closer I got the more intrigued I was. Finally, seeing them up close, BONES! I quickly set up my gear and snapped away before the light faded and darkness consumed the scene.
