June 30th, we witnessed a beautiful tornado in Southern Colorado and even a rattle snake with structure. Usually that would be a full day, well not this time. We managed to fall behind an outflow boundary from the earlier storm and fought tooth and nail to get back ahead. Once we pierced through the dense wall of dirt we started to pull away from this amazing haboob! We couldn’t believe our eyes as we stumbled upon this old house with a towering wall of darkness headed strait for us. Eventually we let the storm catch back up and encase us in darkness.
