Back in July I ventured out to find flowers with a few good friends. We succeeded in finding some of my favorite the Columbine. The steep switchback road was a challenge in the RAV4 but was extremely fun! Just before sunset and right after the rain stopped I managed to hike above this alpine lake and take in the sun slipping behind the surrounding peaks. Such an amazing experience.
