Long before the sunrise I started my accent up the mountain side. Columbines as the target, pack on my pack, heavy breathing my reality. Finally I arrived at my composition high above an amazing alpine lake, surrounded by flowers. The sun began to rise and cast an amazing glow on the opposite mountain side. With the sun came the wind, a photographers worst nightmare when if comes to light foliage. Luckily a small lull in the breeze allowed me to take this photo. Triumphantly I returned to camp, gladly it was all downhill.
